For King and Country

Here we are, five days since we had our crescendo of prayer and lifted up our hands for our nation.  Thousands of voices shooting like firebrands into the spirit realm on behalf of our cities and this great nation.  I feel like shouting and laughing and sitting down for a rest.

Just think, God used your voice to take up a space in the heavens and with our prayers together, our faith and His power, we know that His purposes were pushed forward. The Kingdom of God is carried into the future in the hearts of relentless warriors, and is advanced through our trust in His Promise.   Good Job! 

Mostly though, I hope that it stirred the warrior within.  As each of us take up the slack in our part of the tapesty, there is a response from Heaven and healing begins to flow through the believing heart to proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom.  Then the warrior in you inspires the warrior in me and a great awakening begins as the sleeping giant of the Church arises to shine.

So, let us think of ways to spur one another to acts of love and good works, especially now that the last days are upon us.  Thanks my friends and fellow contenders.  My heart remains true to King and country.  Our King is Jesus, our country, the Church He is preparing.  Julie

A night of Praying for our City our Nation and our Future

 

Every year for the last few, we have chosen a day to have simultaneous prayer across the nation.  This year we chose halloween.  So wherever you are this Wednesday, turn it into an opportunity for advancing the Kingdom, pushing back the enemy and taking back our territory in Jesus name.   We are holding an open Prayer Meeting in our facility and invite you and everyone you know to come along.  I am passionate about the Church and she is most powerful, gathered and in one mind and one spirit.

Please consider joining with us on site, or wherever you are, in this Great South Land of the Holy Spirit.  Have fun.

Our agenda for the evening will go like this: 

Worship / stirring up the warrior / Prayer/ 10 minutes of intensely praying through the 10 minute prayer (found at our website or blog), fellowship and food.  Do this alone or with a friend if you can’t be with us.

Tired on the inside ...

I am encountering so much tiredness as I talk to friends in the ministry as I move around, that I am certain that we are poised exactly where the ‘house of Israel’ was Ezekiel 37.  When the angel interprets the vision to Ezekiel he says that the bones are representative of God’s people.  In verse 11;  "Son of man, these bones represent the people of Israel. They are saying, 'We have become old, dry bones—all hope is gone.’”

 

I love the next verse most and recognize it as the strategy to conquer, the kind of fatigue that targets warriors and it lets you know that the ‘breath’ is gone.  The Holy Spirit strategy; v 12  Therefore prophesy …

 

Wounded heart, hear the Word of the Lord.  Tired soul, hear the Word of the Lord.  You, who were once, pulsing with life but now are so bogged down with ministry challenges, hear the Word of the Lord.  God is able to make breath enter you once more, He did not make a mistake when He called your name.  He chose you and loves you, Therefore prophesy …  His plan for you is for good and not for disaster.

 

7 days to go and we have prayed for the same amount of time that Nehemiah took to rebuild the wall in Jerusalem.  We are rebuilding an invisible wall that defines our cities in the spirit realm as ‘belonging to God’.  Just sit back, take the 10 minute prayer for 2012 in hand or on screen, and prophesy as you have been commanded.  Breathe deep and stand tall as a chosen heir of the Kingdom, announcing decrees in His name and then wait patiently for Him, He is faithful who promised.

PRAISE  You are an awesome God and I know that you hear me when I pray, so I come into your presence with the bold joy of a loved child.  I am so grateful for the amazing grace I have received in Jesus.  Nothing compares to the calm assurance of Your love.  I have been saved from futility and death and now I walk in new life so that I can give you praise.  Thank You for perfecting Your strength in my weakness.  Your grace is sufficient and I renounce every fear and doubt, bringing them into captivity, submitting them to the Living Word.  I am fully armed with the truth of salvation, the gift of righteousness and the shield of faith.  I take up the Sword of the Spirit and pray, believing that I am seated with You, in the place of authority and call these things that aren’t, as though they are.  You said, the fervent prayer of the righteous is powerful so we release the Kingdom on the earth.  For our nation, we ask earnestly for Peace in place of trouble, Prosperity instead of greed and poverty, and the Power of God to deliver us from the distractions and apathy of our time.

 

PEACE  Lord we pray for Peace in our city.  The Kingdom of God is righteousness, joy, and peace in the Holy Spirit, so we know that we need You to see peace established in our city.  We have seen wonderful victories in these last few years and we thank you.  Even so we believe that Yours is a never ending, ever increasing kingdom, so let the peace of God flow out of every congregation and home that calls itself by Your name.  We bind up all strife and jealousy, in our homes, our congregations and in the government.  Where this sin abounds Lord, we announce the provision of Your Word to see grace abound even more. 

We bind up bitterness and rage and release peace, forgiveness and grace in Jesus name.  We announce that the power of Jesus’ blood, can pull down every stronghold and silence the voice of the accuser who condemns those that You have granted freedom.  We bind up every demonic source of evil that resists the plans You have for our city.   We cast our cares about the future upon you and forbid, depression and anxiety to reign in us and we instead we release peace over our homes and this city.   We ask especially today, the Lord of the harvest to send out ambassadors of peace into the social corridors of our city, the hospitals, the police and the business community.  Bless every chaplain and teacher who wears the gospel shoes of peace onto the grounds of our schools and universities.  We see our city defined by the redemptive plan that you are outworking through the Church, which is Your body.

 

PROSPERITY  Father, you own everything and we release your favour over our lives and ministry today.  There is a blessing that comes from the Lord and has no sorrow with it.  We announce afresh, that the time of the Lords favour has come and today, we step into this promise through Faith.  I pray that the people of God, in this city would prosper and be in health even as their souls prosper.  We bind up the strongman of mammon and we release the power to arise and shine out of debt and materialism with eyes to see that Your grace is sufficient.  The thief comes to steal and kill but Jesus came that we would walk in His abundant life and provision, so we agree with the Word and receive the power to create wealth in Jesus name.  So we repent of our reliance on every counterfeit for this life and align ourselves with the knowledge of your truth that sets us free.  

We renounce greed and place ourselves firmly in Your hand.  Help us Holy Spirit to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not to lean on our own understanding.  We pull down every vain thought and the lies that lead us into temptation and turn away from the lure of wealth that devours people in this city.  We release on the earth the true prosperity that comes from You.   We thank you for every church in this city, let them stand tall as lights in the dark, releasing people into freedom as they declare the truth of Your desire to bless.

 

PEOPLE IN POWER  Lord, we remember especially those ordained to lead in this city and in this nation.  Thank you for those who uphold righteousness, bless them and their household.  We pray protection and wisdom over every civic leader in each state and territory, including our Prime Minister and our Mayor.  Grant them wisdom and grace to lead.  We stand against every stronghold that tries to corrupt the work they do and add our voice to yours and pray a blessing on them today.   Bless every leader in the Body of Christ, let every voice that speaks for you be heard, and let every lie be silenced.  Lord send out labourers in this nation, raise up apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to fully equip the people for every good work.  Protect and provide for them so that they can fight the good fight assigned to them this day.  Lord, use the Church in this city to display Your manifold wisdom in its rich variety to the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.  Let heaven and earth stand as a witness this day as we declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord of our city.  

We, the people of God, announce that judgment has been written against every evil principality and power, in Jesus name.

 

POWER OF GOD   We bind up the religious spirit and the confusion it brings, in our region.  Expose the leaven in us, so as your body, we can become one, releasing the glory of the Lord.  We bind up apathy and tribalism to release the unity that is born in Your presence.   I believe, to see tens of thousands of people in every city find their hope in you and be gathered up in Grace.  You said that Your glory would fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.   Fill us with Your power and make us fit to release the Kingdom into every sphere of culture.  We need Your help Holy Spirit so we abandon words and ask for Revival in our churches for the sake of souls in our city.

We long to see an outpouring of Your Power in our meetings, our homes and in the market place.  When You walked the streets physically,  You brought healing into the lives of ordinary people. I believe that our whole city could be turned up side down by the release of Your Power through those who believe.  We bind up unbelief and pull down the strongholds made from our traditions.  Stir up the warrior in every believer to release a sound, that will not give up until the Word of the Lord has been fulfilled in our city.  The promises of God hover over our nation like clouds full of rain.  They await their appointed time, therefore we prophesy, ‘Come Lord Jesus’, come in power, come with healing to our cities.  In these last days, Your Spirit has been poured out on both the young and the old, men and women.  Flood the Body with dreams and visions of the future.  We pull down the strongholds that prevent people from seeing You.  Let your kingdom come and Your will be done, through the power that is at work in all who believe.  We declare today, that Revival is the destiny for the people of this nation.  We know that You do not light lamps to hide them but rather to place them on their stand, so we stand up in Your power to arise and shine!

 

PRAISE  Every word You have ever said is still pulsing with life and truth, because You are not a man and do not lie.  We remember the promises given to us, and know that they are Yes, and Amen in Jesus.  The heavens declare Your glory and from everlasting to everlasting Your Word will remain.  Today we walk in the full privilege of our adoption and thank You.  You have commissioned us to be a voice, shouting in the wilderness of time that, You are good, and You are faithful to do all that You promised.  We anchor our soul in this hope.  We love and honour You Lord and ask that Your Spirit would keep us in perfect peace as we keep our mind on You, today.

21 DAYS TO GO

Hello friends, I went to bed last night noticing there were 21 days left for this campaign.  Then this morning while praying I wanted to read the story of Daniel interceding for Jerusalem, his city.  As I read, I chuckled to myself as I read in Ch 10:12-13 the Holy Spirit showed me yet again, that He is able to lead us.  Daniel too, had prayed for 21 days and then the vision with a promise.  Dont give up. Let me leave this with you, it will feed you for the entire 21 days remaining if you meditate on it; I prayed to the Lord my God and confessed, "O Lord you are a great and awesome God.  You always fulfill your covenant and keep your promises of unfailing love to those who love you and obey your commands...

CHARGE!!!

Hello to my faithful friends who believe.

From the Spirit I thank you for your diligence and your faith. These last few weeks as we have put our hands up to prophesy on behalf of heaven, God has continuously whispered to me. How I know and love that voice that stirs hope in me. Don’t lose sight of the magnificence that is activated when a heart believes and a mouth declares. In this way we take our place as foot soldiers in this great army that God is raising up all over the planet. Margaret Mead wrote, “Never think that a small group of committed people can’t change the world … in fact nothing else ever has”.

When you pray, you are a part of a supernatural, collective voice, attracting the power of heaven and releasing it on the earth for the dreams of God to come true. This is a phenomenon that should send a Holy Spirit shiver up your spine and send you running into His presence. What a privilege.

This is a short note to encourage you to focus on what lies ahead, salvation and joy and a move of God, so expansive that everybody you know will be affected somehow. God invites us to pray for things that have never been seen before, like whole cities being defined by the Grace of God manifest through the Church. No eye has seem, no ear has heard, it hasn’t even entered your mind yet, the good things God has in store for you.
So go on, be strong and very brave, believe and say so, because He is faithful who promised.

Sunday the 28^th – Churches, take ten minutes out of your service, stand together and pray for our nation. Using the Prayer for 2012 as a guide, we will have the biggest, multi-venue prayer meeting, this nation has ever experienced. All things are possible.

I really encourage you to get some friends together to pray on this special day, the 31^st of October, wherever you are. It is Halloween … and it is the anniversary of the Lighthorse Charge at Beersheba. And now it is a night for the Church in this nation to Arise and Shine!

A TREAT FOR LOGAN CITY – we will be joining with a combined churches event at Logan Brothers Football Club on Wembley Rd at 6pm on 28^th Oct and finishing the evening with a united voice of prayer for our city. This show of solidarity is reflected in the Spirit by a Holy Spirit shift of power in favour of the purposes of God. This is what Paul called the ‘Good Fight’ and exhorts us to get involved.

BE A TRUE AUSTRALIAN DIGGER

Gen 26:12   When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the Lord blessed him.  He became a very rich man, and his wealth continued to grow.  He acquired so many flocks of sheep and goats, herds of cattle, and servants that the Philistines became jealous of him.  So the Philistines filled up all of Isaac's wells with dirt. These were the wells that had been dug by the servants of his father, Abraham.

 

We are blessed, yes.  God has promised us many things and His Word is true.  However notice that the enemy sees the source of the blessing here and fills it with earth.  (human beings were made from the earth so this can mean, that Isaac got distracted with the human side of the blessing and the well was cluttered and stopped)

Individually, and together, we re-dig a well.   There is nothing new for us to do, but there is surely, things to rebuild, to clear and to restore.  One of these things is Prayer to the Church.  When we pray, asking for nations, as we the Church is mandated to do, we return to our roots, to the call of Abraham even.  He was promised the whole earth as his inheritance, why should we limit our prayer request to anything short of a widespread revival that captivates the Church in the love of God and lift up Jesus as the answer. 

When you are tired, dig.  When you are disappointed, dig.  When your kids slight you, dig.  There will always be brave souls who clear the earth from the wells that Abraham dug, wells of grace, blessing, inheritance, sons and daughters.  These are the forerunners of the future and God will reward them – see verse 12

PEOPLE IN POWER  Lord, we remember especially those ordained to lead in this city and in this nation.  Thank you for those who uphold righteousness, bless them and their household.  We pray protection and wisdom over every civic leader in each state and territory, including our Prime Minister and our Mayor.  We pull down every stronghold that seeks to corrupt the work they do.   Bless every leader in the Body of Christ, let every voice that speaks for you, shout and be heard, and let every lie be silenced.  Lord send out labourers in this nation, raise up apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to fully equip the people for every good work.  Protect and provide for them so that they can fight the good fight assigned to them this day.  Lord, use the Church in this city to display Your manifold wisdom in its rich variety to the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.  Let heaven and earth stand as a witness this day as we declare that Jesus Christ is the Lord of our city and we, the people of God, announce the judgment written against every evil principality and power, in Jesus name.

 

POWER OF GOD  We bind up the religious spirit and the confusion it brings, in our region.  Expose the leaven in us, so as your body, we can become one, releasing the glory of the Lord.  We bind up apathy and tribalism to release the unity that is born in Your presence.  I believe, to see tens of thousands of people in every city find their hope in you and be gathered up in Grace.  You said that Your glory would fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.  Make us fit for this work, to carry Your power into every sphere of culture.  We need Your help Holy Spirit so we abandon words  and ask for Revival for our city.

We long to see an outpouring of Your Power in our meetings, our homes and in the market place.  When Jesus walked the streets physically, he brought healing into the ordinary lives of broken people. I believe that our whole city could be turned up side down by the release of Your Power.  We bind up unbelief and pull down the strongholds born of it.  Stir up the warrior in every believer to release a sound, that will not give up until the Word of the Lord has been fulfilled in our city.  The promises of God hover over our nation like clouds full of rain.  They await their appointed time, therefore we prophesy, ‘Come Lord Jesus’, come in power, come with healing to our cities.  In these last days, Your Spirit has been poured out on young and old, men and women, with dreams and visions.  We pull down the strongholds that blind people from seeing You.  Let your kingdom come and Your will be done in this city, through the power that is at work in all who believe.  We declare today, that Revival is the destiny for the people of this nation.  We know that You do not light lamps to hide them but rather to place them on their stand, so we shout it out arise, shine!

 

PRAISE  Every word You have ever said is still pulsing with life and truth, because You are not a man and do not lie.  We remember the promises given us, and know that they are Yes, and Amen in Jesus.  The heavens declare Your glory and from everlasting to everlasting Your Word will remain.  Today we walk in the full privilege of our adoption and thank You Lord that You have commissioned us to be a voice, shouting in the wilderness of time that, You are good, and are faithful to do all that You promised.  We anchor our soul in this hope.  We love and honour You Lord and ask that Your Spirit would keep us in perfect peace as we keep our mind on You, today.  

hallelujah 31 Oct

I was at the shops today and the halloween stuff is out, and I thought ‘excellent’, now we have a constant reminder that we must speak for our Kingdom, ushering the Light into the world with our prayers and our prophetic announcements.  God invites us into the war of words.  The Word of Life, Jesus and all He has promised high above every other conversation and babblings that go on to perpetuate the Kingdoms of this world.  So, my warrior friend, turn off your computer, pull out the prayer for 2012 and build.  Have fun!

This is my daily bread

I met a man the other night who has a 300 year goal for his life.  He had value projections for every 30 years to pour blessing back into the local church.  He was Peter Daniels, 80 years old and already responsible for releasing millions of dollars into Kingdom work in Australia and across the globe. 

I was inspired.  Most of us think our goals are BIG if they would take a year or two.  I am back in the presence of God asking for a grand plan for me to steward that will transcend my probable 50 years left on the planet.  Whatever you do, wherever you go with what you do, don’t forget that God has you factored into His redemptive plan for others. 

That’s why I pray.  It will take a divine merging of prophetic calls to bring about the unity of spirit and see revival hit our shores, but it will happen, God has promised.  To this end, we pray.  The Lord said to me gather, gather, gather, gather people to Ask for Nations, and I will give you victory.  You must refuse to let others decide on the validity of your mandate.  There are people everywhere rising up, catching the dream of redeemed cities, where the power of God can be easily found.  In these cities, the glory of God shines out on street corners and conversations, churches and coffee houses, all for the purpose of pointing people to the One who will be the desire of the nations.  With this mandate comes a great responsibility to open up the gates of your city. 

Acts 12

 So Peter left the cell, following the angel. But all the time he thought it was a vision. He didn't realize it was actually happening. They passed the first and second guard posts and came to the iron gate leading to the city, and this opened for them all by itself.

Seemingly, but not really.  Read v 5 But while Peter was in prison, the church prayed very earnestly for him. 

This is our privilege people, to pray earnestly and unlock all the promises of God for the sake of the Apostolic calling of the Church (prophetically imaged in Peter)  We are in our 2012 campaign doing just this, fulfilling our commissioning from the Spirit to release the Kingdom on the earth by announcing Peace, Prosperity and the Power of God that changes everything.   

This campaign began 18 days ago and culminates on the 31^st of October, which is a significant date for 2 reasons.  1. Halloween  2.  Anniversary of Lighthorse charge at Beersheba.  I encourage you to get a few friends, your small group or your whole church to gather on this night and stand with thousands of others and celebrate the victory.  Sunday night the 28^th is set aside for churches to pray through our 2012 prayer and agree with thousands of others in the Body.  How good is that.

Its gonna be wild ...

Most people, believers or atheists, tend to pray in crisis.  It is a human thing to not ask for help until it is dire.  Our Father in heaven is not just for the evil day, He is ever present and always waiting for that look or that song or conversation from you.  At the beginning of 2010, I heard the Jesus Culture song, ‘Come Away’ for the first time and I knew immediately that God was inviting anyone with ears to hear, to a deeper place.  It is a prophetic song written from the groom to the Bride.  This deeper place is not a crisis place but a wild place of joy and daring.  A place of authority where things are torn down and others are raised up.  It is an ancient song about an ancient place in the heart of God and is for lovers only.  Yes He hears the prayer for help, but this praying everyday, co-working with the Spirit to see the Kingdom come is an honoured place.  Still the song rings out and the cry from the Spirit resonates and we who can hear are drawn into the beauty of the song and the adventure of the promise.  The psalmist shared this conversation thousands of years ago and the door is still ajar for anyone hungry for love and laughter.  Ps 27:8  My heart has heard you say, "Come and talk with me." And my heart responds, "Lord, I am coming."   It is this place that the future is designed by those who love His presence and pray without ceasing. 

Miracles Happen - day 16

Can you feel the nations tremble.  Are you believing for something MASSIVE? 
Are your prayers even attracting the interest of a ‘bigger than the galaxy’, God.  God woke my spirit up a couple of years ago and said to me, ‘Julie, dare to pray for things you have never seen happen before’, so I ask for nations, according to the scripture.  ‘Can a nation be saved in a day?’, the prophet asks.  YES  ‘Can plunder be taken from a warrior?’  YES  I can actually see this possibility in the spirit.  I can see the real possibility, with the amazing things happening in technology and the passion of believers, of this nation coming under conviction supernaturally overnight.  But this is only possible as the people of God do like Isaiah 62 asks.  Refuse to shut up until God’s Word is fulfilled.  I will not be silent, I will not shut up, I will be as undignified as is necessary to pull the Kingdom down in my city for the sake of those whose lives hang in the balance.  When I see the devils handiwork in the lives of children and families who literally have no hope outside of Jesus, I want to shout on top of every mountain; Jesus is the answer, trust in Him.  Please add your voice to the cry that is ringing out in the heavens, calling for a shift so big that the ripples will continue for a generation to come. Ps 22:31 Babies not yet conceived will hear the good news — that God does what he says. MSG  Just believe it and see how your spirit leaps with the hope of a new day.  When the power of God is administered in humility and grace by those who are set apart for this hour, all things are possible. 

training my hands for war

1 Cor 14  For if I pray in tongues, my spirit is praying, but I don't understand what I am saying.  Well then, what shall I do? I will pray in the spirit, and I will also pray in words I understand. I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand.

It is an essential discipline for the warrior to train the mind to stay focused in prayer.  As we harness our desire to pray, our words become weapons that articulate the desires of God for the earth.  The prayer for 2012* comes straight out of the Living Word and as I read it each day, I read every single word fully aware of its power to perform the thing for which it is sent.  Strangely, even when I am not in the mood to pray, like an athlete I bring my body into submission and make my thoughts captive to Jesus.  Then something wonderful happens, my heart joins in and I can feel my whole being coming into alignment with the dream that God has given us to carry.  This is praying with the understanding.  This is a great way to allow your whole self to enter into the praying.

He is the Prince of Peace, the One who promised abundant life and who fills us with His Holy Spirit.  When we run out of words, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness and prays through us with sounds that transcend our minds and fully in accordance with the will of God.  This is praying in the Spirit.  Both are wonderful tools in the mouth of the warrior.

*Prayer for 2012

OPEN YOUR MOUTH

Consider this thought.  All the power of God has been distributed into the mouths of His people.  It does not reside in monuments or cathedrals.  There is no power in an idea that is unspoken.  All the power of God, the very dreams of Heaven are contained in the physical mouths of believers all over the world.  Jesus said, ‘if you abide in me, and my word abides in you, whatsoever things you ask for, shall be given to you’.  Life and death, in the power of the tongue.  When we pray, and especially when we pray in agreement with one another, we unleash the power of God on the earth.  When we prophesy, believing that we have what we ask for, especially what is clearly promised us in the Word, then it is only a matter of time, before that Word manifests.  This is the mandate for anyone who believes for Revival, which is no more than the Church rising up to the full measure of the stature of Christ.  This is something that God has promised will be.  Jesus taught us to pray, Your Kingdom Come, and we do. 

 

If you haven’t read through the Prayer, it is right here entitled, Prayer for 2012, please do so.  The Bible exhorts us to pray in the Spirit, and with the understanding.  This is praying with the understanding and I invite you to pray it through every day till October 31.  Then you will be a part of a mighty chorus of voices, releasing the power of God on the earth.  10 mins daily sowing into global revival, too easy!

See the army, sitting peacefully ...

DAY 10 –  If you ever find yourself in the place of prayer and wonder what on earth you are doing there, don’t fret, it happens.  Just sit quietly in His presence, He is there.  Sometimes I will put on a song that refocuses my eyes on Him, but do not be concerned with anything else in that moment.  He is using you.  Wait, because all over the place, the Holy Spirit is talking to ordinary people just like you and me, inviting them to work with Him and in a quiet, strong and often invisible movement, the Kingdom inches forward.  As it is expanded in your heart it is expanded. 

As I was praying this morning, I prayed for every seed type of harvest field.  I asked the Lord to raise up men and women who will lay down their lives for Him.  I asked that every ministry in our city whose agenda is to serve, would flourish.  For a new wave of discipleship that literally changes the way an entire generation of kingdom young people think.  Do you believe it is possible?  Yes and amen!   The 10 minute prayer for 2012 articulates these things.  While they are not manifest in the natural, they are already true in the spirit, in the heart of God and in the Word, so … again I say, Your Kingdom come.

Greatness in an earthen vessel

Firstly let me thank you for stepping up and adding your voice in this great prayer, announcing the intentions of God into your world.  The Bible promises a reward for the one who will hear the prophetic Word of the Lord and receive it, so I announce blessing on you and your household. 

I also know that as you step into a season of intentional prayer, the Holy Spirit within you will begin to illuminate things in your life that He has thoughts about.  As you get these impressions, write them down and begin to pray into them and see where the Lord leads you.  The dreams in your heart are not to tease you but to release you fully into abundant life.  There is greatness in you, and as you live today with intention and grace, doors will open up in your favour and soon you will look back and say, “Hasn’t the Lord been good to me”  Rick Joyner says that the shortest route to know what God wants from you is to do the little things with greatness and develop greatness within you.  Then that passion will open the way to the very purpose for which you were born.  Be very blessed, Julie

DAY 8  We used to sing, ‘We have a vision …” and we did.  But just like the body without the spirit is dead, (a corpse), so is Faith without Works, or vision without action.  ‘Works’ is not a dirty word, in fact without works, it’s all just so much talk.  I implore you to live as one who will give account for your words and ask that you will pray with us for the vision of a redefined Australia to emerge from the rubble of our history.  When we at 10000warriors pray and prophesy into this dream, we are acting on our faith and demonstrating our belief that All Things Are Possible.

Authenticy comes in all shapes - Day 5

If you are reading this then I would suggest that you have a heart like Nehemiah.  A God fearing person who refused to forget that God was meant to be the centre of his people.  The jews were citizens in someone else’s kingdom, but a few brave warrior / builders put their own agendas aside and gave themselves to rebuilding the city where God’s presence would manifest.  While on assignment, their enemy taunted them, saying;

 

"What does this bunch of poor, feeble Jews think they're doing? Do they think they can build the wall in a single day by just offering a few sacrifices? Do they actually think they can make something of stones from a rubbish heap—and charred ones at that?"

 

If you have ever been disappointed, watched as your dreams were burned to the ground.  If your life in some way resembles that of a charred stone, then you are a perfect candidate for God to use to restore the walls and see His Kingdom come.  We at 10000warriors are those stones, burned, refined, strengthened by grace and ready to work.  Be confident of this that He who began the work is faithful to complete it.  So keep on asking, every day.  Keep on seeking and keep on knocking, knowing that he who asks receives and from that incorruptible seed is life.

52 Days of rebuilding in His name.

4 days into a 52 day Prayer Campaign.  10 minutes ever day  (Prayer for 2012 below)  Why 52 days?  God gave me this number when reading the story of Nehemiah, who rebuilt the wall supernaturally in that time, so I say, why not?  That time finishes on the 31^st of October, Halloween and the anniversary of the Australian Lighthorse charge on Beersheba, for you prophetic history buffs.

Today I just feel so proud (in a good way), to be a part of such a wonderful movement, the church, whose mandate is to light up the world and to rescue souls from darkness.  Do not be distracted by lesser lights that Him.  Worship Him, seek Him, He will inspire your prayers if you will draw near to Him.  Often we want abundant life or revival without the cross.  Gal 2:20 clears it up for us,  “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.  I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless”.

 

ANYHOW this is the point, to rally people everywhere to pray. Let each one discover the joy in expression of the cry from deep inside every heart that longs for the power of His presence, the purpose of the Church and the honour of our King.

2 - Fight for Family

This morning while praying, I just realised afresh that we must pray for one another.  Me for you and you for me.  When one of us is weak, we need someone else to bear us up in prayer.  I prayed for my friends and family and asked the Lord to watch over them.  In so doing, I believe that we present a united front against the enemy who is always looking for the vulnerable among us.  Father, even now, I pray for anyone reading this who is grieving or unwell.  I especially ask that You would remind them of how much they have in You, that You have not forgotten them and that the plans that You have are good.  Keep them strong by Your grace and we bind up the constant lies that rob them of Your Truth.  In Jesus name, Amen.
Pray for one another on every ocassion and together we can advance the Kingdom despite our personal challenges.  We are constantly admonished, Take Courage, Be Strong and Very Courageous, Stand Therefore, and by grace we will.  Take 10 minutes today and ask for the Spirit of God to come to your city and allow Him to use you to make a difference.  Check out blog, 2012 Prayer, below and have fun.  Julie
