SATURDAY 21 PRAYER WALK 2012

A 10 Minute Prayer for Our City

PRAISE

Lord we Praise You!

Lord, I know and proclaim that You are the only true God (Jer 10:10, 1Jn 5:20).

You are high above the gods of this world (1Ch 16:25, Ps 95:3).

The things that man has made, pale into insignificance,

when compared to what You have made (1Cor 1:20).

I thank You Lord, for all You are.

It is Your kindness and Your grace which is my true strength (2Thess 2:16-17).

I acknowledge Your goodness to me and thank You

wholeheartedly for all You have done in my life (Ps 31:19).

Before I was born You thought about me (Ps 139:13-18).

You rescued me and now You have called me by Your Spirit (Eph 4:1-6).

You have empowered me to take my place and to see Your will done

and to establish Your Kingdom on the earth (Lk 22:29, Mt 6:10).

I thank You for my life and for this moment in history (Es 4:14).

Lord I know You have a plan for our city and for our nation

and today I align myself with Your word, to see this plan unfold (Is 62:12).

I add my faith with others to see the church arise and

grow from strength to strength (Rom 15:5-6).

PEACE

Father we pray for Peace (Jer 29:7).

Dear Father in Heaven, we thank You that You sent Your Son,

Jesus, into this world as the Prince of Peace (Is 9:6).

We know therefore, that anything that steals our Peace is not from You.

We ask that peace would be manifested in our city and in our nation (Jer 33:9).

The thief comes to steal and to destroy,

he is hell bent on infecting our communities with violence (Jn 10:10).

We stand therefore, opposed to violence against women.

We bind up racism and child abuse, rape and strife and we cry out to You

Lord, on behalf of those caught in this trap (Is 58:10).

You are the God of Truth and Justice and we declare that You are Lord over our city (Ps 89:14).

We serve notice on the forces who steal peace from our city

and declare that God’s will must be done (Mal 3:2).

Father, Your peace is so amazing that it transcends our ability to understand (Phil 4:7).

It is a supernatural peace and we unlock and release it so it can flow freely

through our churches, the Pillar of Truth, which is Your Body (Heb 13:20-21).

We ask that Your Church in this city would be bursting with people who carry this Gospel of Peace with them into every aspect of their lives (Eph 6:15).

Lord we ask for Peace in our schools, both the classroom and the playground.

Lord we ask that the atmosphere in our schools would be changed by the power of Your Spirit. That they would be a place where children are covered by an

amazing sense of Peace and calm (Is 54:13).

We stand in our authority as Your children and proclaim that NOW is the time of the Lords favour and that Peace will rule in our churches and in our homes and families (Lk 4:19-21).

We thank You for the incredible greatness of Your power that is at work in us (Eph 3:20).

We thank You for Your atoning Blood that is all powerful to overthrow the darkness that works against peace in our community (Rev 12:11).

We stand together, with others who call on Your name and take the keys, unlock the Kingdom, and forbid anarchy and alcoholism to rule any longer (Matt 18:18).

Let the people of God arise like a new dawn and become stronger and stronger as they carry their mandate, to diligently bring the Good News (Ps 29:11).

That Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Rom 15:33)!

PROSPERITY

Let prosperity be unlocked in Jesus name (Ps 122:9).

We thank You Father that You are generous and that in Your Kingdom

there is abundance of every good thing (Phil 4:19).

We know Lord that it is Your good pleasure to give us the Kingdom,

so we ask for Your provision in our lives (Lk 12:31-32).

Increase the number of those who call out to You in faith (Rom 10:12).

Give us each day the things we need for life and for health (Matt 6:11).

We understand that everything that exists was originally made by You

and that the whole earth belongs to You (Ps 24:1-2).

It is Your nature to bless Your children and see them flourish in every way (Ps 5:2).

So today we announce out loud, the freedom that You bring (2Cor 3:17).

It is Your desire that Goodness and Mercy would follow us all the days of our lives (Ps 23:6).

So we stand confident, knowing that You are willing to release every person

Who asks from the bondage of Poverty and greed (Gal 5:1).

We forbid the powers of darkness to steal from Gods people any more.

We see this destructive force at work in our city in the form of gambling and debt, unemployment, theft and vandalism.

Father, deliver us from this evil by Your awesome power (Mat 6:13).

We stand in the Blessing of God, by Your grace that sent Jesus into our world. (Jn 1:16-17).

You came and showed us how to live, how to Honour You

with the First of all that we possess.

Your Word teaches us to call things that do not yet exist, as if they already do (Rom 4:17).

So, in the light of this, we thank You for a city where no child is raised

with the horror that poverty brings.

We thank You, Jesus, that You handed us the keys of the Kingdom

and so we forbid this evil to advance another inch (Matt 16:19).

We release the spirit of generosity and contentment over our churches

and our homes in the name of Jesus (Phil 4:11-19).

You are the one who leads us into all freedom (2Cor 3:17).

We know that You became poor so that we could become rich (2Cor 8:9).

We learn from the Word, that it is You Lord,

who gave us the power to create wealth (Deut 8:18).

We bind up the fear that stifles our faith and we unbind and release innovation and creativity, so that we would always have enough for every good work (2Cor 9:8).

PEOPLE IN POWER

Firstly Lord we thank You for every person who holds power in this city

and in this nation (1Tim 2:1-2).

We thank You for righteousness in the halls of power (Prov 14:34).

We ask Lord that You release wisdom and favour to those who are called to lead (2Chron 1:10).

We understand Father that they are Your instruments and

so we pray that they would be kept by Your power.

We forbid corruption and dishonesty to flourish and we unleash a spirit of co-operation and integrity to be available for every leader (Rom 15:5-6).

Lord protect every Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher (Eph 4:11-13).

Give them courage and strength (1Cor 16:13).

Lord, we pray protection and favour on every member of council

who acts in righteousness (Ps 25:1).

Keep Your hand upon our politicians, and the premiers of our states.

Lord we thank You that it has been spoken over this land from the earliest times, that it would be the Great South Land of the Holy Spirit (Josh 18:3).

This is the dream Lord, and we ask that You remove from power anyone

who stands against Your plans in our city.

Lord raise up many more labourers, servant leaders for this nation (Mk 9:35).

We thank You Lord for the brave move of our government in initiating reconciliation

between first nation people and those who came later.

Lord raise up others also, to be true ministers of reconciliation

at every level of power (2Cor 5:18-19).

We thank You Lord for every parent and every teacher.

Let an awareness of Your grace and an openness to truth,

be released to those who work in the media (Matt 10:27).

We pray for every person involved in the justice system (Lk 18:7-8).

We speak safety over our police force and those who manage our courts and prisons.

We bind up every evil desire that flows through the hearts of people and ask for blessing and protection for those in power (Ps 41:1-2).

POWER OF GOD

Summon Your Power oh God (Ps 68:28)!

Thank You Lord that every word You have ever spoken continues to have POWER (Is 55:11)!

Not one word that ever originated in the mind of God has ever lost even one measure of the enormous power it had when it was first breathed and spoken, into time (Acts 19:20).

The word of God is the breath of God, which is Spirit and is LIFE (Jn 6:63)!

You have said Lord God, that the whole earth would be filled with Your glory,

and we believe and agree with the Living Word Ps 72:19).

We release the Glory of God in our city.

You said and we agree, that Your Spirit has been poured out and that both Young and old would be partakers and participators in the movement of God on the earth (Acts 2:17-18).

We ask and believe Lord that the Spirit of God would manifest in our lives

so that this world would never be the same (Acts 1:8).

We release dreams and visions for both the old and the Young,

on both men and women (Job 33:14-18).

We declare this city OPEN for revival (Is 45:8).

We bind up and forbid any fact of history,

sin or power that stands against the promise of God (Jer 14:7).

We condemn the words of the nay sayers,

who with their negativity, partner with our enemy (Jam 1:26).

Instead, we partner with You Holy Spirit and release GREAT FAITH and courage to do all that is in the hearts of our prophets and visionaries (Matt 18:19).

We bind up the spirit of jealousy that manifests itself in the tall poppy syndrome and we honour those who carry the gift of Faith both now as well as those in the past.

Forgive us where dishonour has been sown.

We thank You for Your Spirit that turns the hearts of Fathers toward the children (Mal 4:6).

Raise up Lord, many Mothers and Fathers who bring the

Good News of Peace in Jesus name!

PRAISE

How great is our God (Job 36:26)!

Lord we thank You that You remain involved in Your creation.

We understand that we have not been left as orphans

but that we have a Father in Heaven who cares for us (Jn 14:18).

You Lord are the one who loves us and promised to be with us always (Matt 28:20).

You Lord are committed to Your Church and have said that the gates of hell

will not prevail against it (Matt 16:18).

We agree and believe together, that every word You speak is able to perform what it says.

We relax in this wonderful knowledge (Jer 1:12).

You have clothed us with righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit (Rom 4:17).

We are the first partakers of peace and prosperity.

We trust in You and thank You Lord that Your Kingdom has come (Matt 12:28).

Every single day it advances (Is 9:7)!

You have called us to peace Lord and so we rest, knowing that Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory…FOREVER (1Chr 29:10-13)!

WEEKEND WARRIORS SAY SO

Hello Friends, here we are … post Say So and I just keep smiling at the wonderful weekend we had.  I felt like right from the Get Go, we were all here for the same reason.  I loved hanging out with people who want more from life, who love the idea of Carpe Diem and are determined to experience all that God has for them.  I have got to tell you, I do not enjoy mediocrity, in me, my work, the Broncos or anywhere really.  The year so far for me has been less than perfect.  My sister in law passed away just in June and it broke our family’s heart to see her go.  Regrouping, I seriously considered putting the whole idea of a 10W conference aside for now, but I felt the Holy Spirit say, just plant the seed you carry and we did.  Thank you Holy Spirit for your Wisdom and guidance in all we do.

I know something special happened and that it is just the beginning of a community of Warriors who will lead others into abundant life, enforcing the Kingdom in the name of the King, not loving our own lives even if it costs us all we have.

I am making preparations for my annual prayer walk across my city and hope you will be inspired to do the same at yours.  Here is what I do.  I get up early on the appointed day and start walking so that I arrive at our City Council Chambers at 10:am.  I take all the prayer off the website with me and read them all at least once as the sole of my foot treads a route through the territory He has called me to.  Then when I arrive I am surprised by anyone else who gathers and then together we pray, Your Kingdom Come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.  Too Easy.  Be very blessed.
