Today matters most!

Greetings to my friends and all those who search the horizon for more. I must say, this year is not going according to plan. I am engaged in caring for a sister / friend who i am still hoping will get up out of bed and on with her life here on earth. However I also understand that all things physical belong to the earth and our spirits, along with all things invisible, belong to eternity. My prayer is that whether in the body or out of the body, Jesus, be glorified. One thing I love to do is pray with people who like to pray. Nothing worse than getting with people who are looking at you to provide the justification constantly during a time of prayer. But how wonderful is it when 2 or 3 are gathered in His name with the Holy Spirit in charge. That I love. Last night we prayed like that. A whole bunch of us came together and set our hearts to pray in the Spirit together, and because God is good, He spoke to us and through us. We went home, edified, blessed, encouraged, full and more connected to His body, each other. Too fun. Jeremy arrives home today from Indonesian where that great global prayer meeting took place with over 100 000 people praying. God is drawing ordinary folk into the conversation. We must stop thinking there are intercessors and others. He invites us all to co-labour with Him. For some, it is a passion that they easily do full-time, for others, it is to take their cues from those who linger in the Word and Prayer. Wherever you find yourself on this spectrum, do it with joy. Remember to go the journey with others and enjoy the fruit of your prayers through the simplicity of life, in a conversation with a friend or some other blessing. I hope this is the beginning of the unlocking of words for me in 2012, if so, talk soon ........ Yours for Revival, Julie
